Jess is passionate about restoring mobility and improving the lives of her patients. Her journey began with a fascination for human anatomy, obtaining an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology with a Major in Biology at Western University. There, she was a varsity athlete on the Women’s Rugby team and an athletic trainer for the Varsity Women’s Hockey team. Her interest in healthcare lead her to obtain a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.
Jess’ expertise lies in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, and she continuously updates her knowledge with the latest research and techniques. She currently holds AIM Level 1 certification from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. In the future, Jess plans to pursue pelvic health and acupuncture certifications.
Jess is known for her patient-centred approach. She takes time to understand each patient’s unique needs and creates personalized treatment plans to address their conditions. Together as a team, Jess helps her patients achieve their goals. Her compassionate care and technical proficiency have led to patient satisfaction and outstanding results.
Beyond her clinical work, Jess enjoys going for long walks around Toronto, exploring new trails, discovering good eats in the city, playing pick-up volleyball, and going on camping trips.
Jess is available for physiotherapy services at both the Danforth and Greektown East Toronto Orthopaedic & Sports Injury Clinics.
