Fatma is a graduate of the University of Benghazi Medical School in Libya. She is registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) as an Acupuncturist (R. Ac.). She also has a Medical Aesthetician diploma from the International Beauty Institute of Toronto.
Her years of experience as an anesthesiologist and intensivist abroad provided her with strong foundational skills in patient care, pain management, and women’s health. Furthermore, her current clinic experience as TCM Acupuncturist has solidified her knowledge and application of traditional Chinese principles of healing, including acupuncture (therapeutic and cosmetic), Tuina and Wu’s Head massage, dry and wet cupping (Hijama), and moxibustion therapy. Fatma supports patients with sleep disorders, headaches, anxiety, depression, back pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, general gynaecological issues, infertility, induction of labour, mental health including addiction and smoking cessation through auricular acupuncture with NADA protocol, electric acupuncture for most chronic pain and more.
In her current practice, she bridges Eastern and Western principles to holistically treat patients. Fatma combines these elements to deliver a unique and specific treatment plan and treat the problem at its root, rather than simply addressing the symptoms.
