Stephanie completed her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2014. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Dalhousie University. She has extensive experience in a busy private orthopaedic clinic, dealing with a variety of acute and chronic injuries. Stephanie is truly passionate about helping and empowering her clients. She strongly believes in having her clients play an active role in their rehabilitation through a combination of education, individualized therapeutic exercises, and manual-therapy techniques.
Her commitment to lifelong learning is evident in her ongoing professional development. She has successfully completed training in vestibular rehabilitation, is a certified functional intramuscular stimulation (FIMS) dry needling provider, has completed specialty training in working with runners, both amateur and elite. Stephanie has completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 of the Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy courses, as well as concussion management, aquatic therapy, soft tissue release, and Acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada.
Outside of the clinic, Stephanie leads an active lifestyle with her husband and three children. She enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and long distance running.
