Rochelle completed her Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto. She is a strong believer in life-long learning which led her to complete her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). She has also furthered her training in Dry Needling, golf rehab and McKenzie treatment techniques. Rochelle has also completed comprehensive training in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation as an adjunct to her manual and manipulative orthopedic training. The training included treatment of Urinary Incontinence, Pre-natal and Post-partum pelvic dysfunctions and Pelvic pain.
Rochelle’s assessment and treatments philosophies include involvement of patient goal setting, and developing a treatment plan based on what you want to achieve. As a cyclist and urban commuter, Rochelle understands the daily wear and tear on your body, from sitting in front of a desk to being a weekend warrior. She incorporates manual hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises and ensuring patients understand their condition and expectations to get them moving again.
She continues to be involved in the community and volunteers as a Clinical mentor at the University of Toronto in the Advanced Musculoskeletal units. In her spare time, you can find her out and about discovering the beautiful trails of Ontario and roaming the city on her bike.
Rochelle is based at our Downtown location.
