Mia Bechard

Mia has been with the clinic since 2004, and has over 30 years of experience. She graduated from the University of Toronto in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Mia has worked in the public and private sector, having worked for over 10 years at St. Michael’s Hospital.

Mia has completed extensive continuing education in the areas of orthopaedics, manual therapy, exercise, acupuncture, pain management, and osteoporosis. She oversees the Osteocircuit program at the clinic and has a Bonefit certification from Osteoporosis Canada.

Mia also oversees the GLA:D™ Canada program for hip and knee osteoarthritis offered at the clinic. Mia’s approach to care involves a great deal of patient education to manage their current condition and also to encourage an active lifestyle.  You can find Mia at our East Toronto location.
