Amy graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2013. She is licensed and registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Since graduating, Amy has worked in a variety of settings, working with patients of all backgrounds and demographics. In addition to her extensive orthopaedic experience, Amy has taken continuing education courses in vestibular rehabilitation, including the management and treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), cupping, and acupuncture, and incorporates those modalities into her treatments. Amy uses a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue release, and exercise prescription in treating a wide range of orthopaedic and sports injuries.
Amy also has extensive experience in treating women’s pelvic health dysfunction. She has taken courses specializing in pregnancy and post-partum and is comfortable treating issues such as pelvic pain and pressure, constipation, discomfort with intercourse, and incontinence.
